Key responsibilities

1) Strategic Leadership

  • Support organizational development, communicate vision, mission, and values.
  • Create a better home environment for residents.
  • Foster a learning culture for nurses.
  • Monitor KPIs and manage budget and resources efficiently.

2) Essential Indirect Nursing Care Function

  • Formulate policies, procedures, and guidelines for nursing.
  • Conduct audits to maintain compliance standards.
  • Plan and implement clinical quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and licensing requirements are met.

3) Support Capability Development Initiatives

  • Aid in recruiting, developing, and retaining nurses
  • Enhance nursing capabilities and expand roles.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to set goals.
  • Recognize staff for career growth potential and conduct performance appraisals.

4) Operational Management

  • Mentor nursing team, evaluate care quality, and ensure workplace safety.
  • Analyze aged care trends, review procedures, and update nursing standards.
  • Educate staff on skill competencies and conduct audits for quality improvement.
  • Utilize appropriate IT systems for documentation and training equipment for optimal usage.

 

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Possession of a Registered Nursing Certificate.
  • Registration with Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Relevant postgraduate studies at master's degree level is preferred.
  • Current possession of BCLS & AED Certificate.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in nursing.
    • At least 4 years in managerial role.

    • Establishing and managing operations in care centres, nursing homes, or other elderly home care services.
