Key Responsibilities

Media Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organisation, managing all media inquiries and interviews.
  • Develop and execute media strategies to ensure positive and accurate coverage of the organisation's activities and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze media trends to identify opportunities and manage risks.

Corporate Image Development:

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that reflects the organisation’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Oversee branding initiatives, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.
  • Develop impactful campaigns to enhance public awareness of the organisation’s services and community contributions.

 

Public Relations:

  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, and healthcare partners.
  • Plan and execute events such as press conferences, outreach programs, and annual reports.
  • Proactively manage crisis communications and ensure timely, transparent responses.

Patient Relations:

  • Supervise the patient experience team to address feedback, concerns, and compliments.
  • Develop strategies to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to align patient communication with overall care objectives.

Volunteer Management:

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of the organisation's volunteers.
  • Create programs to recognize and celebrate volunteer contributions.
  • Ensure alignment of volunteer initiatives with the organisation's goals and community needs.

Donation Management:

  • Lead fundraising campaigns and donor engagement efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring transparent communication and accountability.
  • Oversee the management of donations to align with the organisation's priorities and community impact goals.

 

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 8–10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record in media management, brand building, and public relations.
  • Experience in donor engagement, fundraising, and volunteer management is a strong advantage.
