Key Responsibilities
Media Engagement:
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organisation, managing all media inquiries and interviews.
- Develop and execute media strategies to ensure positive and accurate coverage of the organisation's activities and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze media trends to identify opportunities and manage risks.
Corporate Image Development:
- Craft and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that reflects the organisation’s mission, vision, and values.
- Oversee branding initiatives, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.
- Develop impactful campaigns to enhance public awareness of the organisation’s services and community contributions.
Public Relations:
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, and healthcare partners.
- Plan and execute events such as press conferences, outreach programs, and annual reports.
- Proactively manage crisis communications and ensure timely, transparent responses.
Patient Relations:
- Supervise the patient experience team to address feedback, concerns, and compliments.
- Develop strategies to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to align patient communication with overall care objectives.
Volunteer Management:
- Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of the organisation's volunteers.
- Create programs to recognize and celebrate volunteer contributions.
- Ensure alignment of volunteer initiatives with the organisation's goals and community needs.
Donation Management:
- Lead fundraising campaigns and donor engagement efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring transparent communication and accountability.
- Oversee the management of donations to align with the organisation's priorities and community impact goals.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8–10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record in media management, brand building, and public relations.
- Experience in donor engagement, fundraising, and volunteer management is a strong advantage.
